7 ways to achieve your Peak Performance

Peak performance is nothing but giving the best, when you are at your best. Today's highly competitive world demand Peak Performance, everywhere. Whether you are in entrepreneurship, athletics, academics, doing a career, or something more , to achieve your GOAL, you don't need only to perform but need to show your peak performance.


1.Mindset: Develop cultivate a Winning Mindset. Positivity is the key to happiness and it is contagious. Cultivate a positive mindset in your team members, also.

Whether the glass is half full or half empty, perception changes the situation. Half-empty glass results in stress-fullness whereas the half-full glass results in Positivity. Problems are the unavoidable part of the task, but positivity will allow you to reach workable solutions.


2.Focus one at a time: Yes, agrees that you need to work on, more than one task, at a time. Replying to mail, while answering the customer's call, is not the right thing to do. You may need to do rework in both. Avoid doing more than one task, at a time.

Work on your priorities. Work on the available time, time required to do a particular task, time to do unplanned work. Prepare your own schedule or plan of a day.

If you focus on one task at a time, you can divert all the energy towards the same, resulting in quality output.


3.Avoid distractions: Run away from those situations which will distract your concentration. It may be traffic sounds, ringing bell, noise from children play area, etc. Many times, you can not avoid the outside disturbing noise but can choose a place for the workstation, with minimum outside noise.


Do you think that the Mobile phone is the most distracting device? App notifications can make you distract from your goal. You can keep the mobile phone on silent mode.


4.Goal Setting: Set up the goal, first. Then you work backwards.

Start from setting up a simple goal, for a limited time period. Set up a goal for a day, for a week, for a month, and a year.

E.g. I will read 5 pages every day, which can be the best goal to start with.


5.Direction: Direction is more important than speed.

If you lose the direction, you may lose the focus and hence the target to achieve. Butbackward, you are on the right path, you will definitely achieve your target.


6.Meditation: One of the amazing benefit of doing regular meditation, is to reduce the anxiety, enhances attention span or your focus. A focused mind delivered the best results, compared to an unfocused mind.


7.Work-Life Balance: If you can achieve all the things, listed above and fail to balance your personal life and professional life, then it's of no use. You will not able to perform, to achieve your best. Especially, in this pandemics scenario, where maximum professionals are working from home, one needs to take efforts to balance, the personal and professional life.
