Rotary Club of Karad and Rotaract Club of Karad City Install New Leadership Teams for 2024-25 Rotary International Year

The Rotary Club of Karad and Rotaract Club of Karad City ushered in the new Rotary International Year 2024-25 with a ceremonious installation of their new Presidents and Boards of Directors at an event held at Town Hall, Karad, on 12 July 2024.


The event, marked by grandeur and camaraderie, was attended by esteemed guests, members of the Rotary and Rotaract communities, and prominent figures from the local community. The chief guests for the evening were the distinguished Padmshri Dr. Tatyarao Lahane and Assistant Governor Rtn Rajiv Rawal, whose presence added a touch of prestige to the occasion.


Rotary Club of Karad Leadership Installation:


For the Rotary Club of Karad, the ceremony was highlighted by the installation of Rtn Ramchandra Lakhole as President. He was ceremoniously collared in a tradition that symbolizes the transfer of leadership and responsibility. Accompanying him was Rtn Ananda Thorat, who assumed the role of Secretary for the 2024-25 term.


In his inaugural address, President Rtn Ramchandra Lakhole expressed his commitment to upholding the values of the Rotary Club and continuing its legacy of service and community impact. He outlined a strategic agenda focused on strengthening club membership, enhancing local outreach programs, and fostering partnerships with other service organizations. "Our goal is to build on the solid foundation laid by our predecessors and elevate our club's contributions to new heights," he stated.



Rotaract Club of Karad City Leadership Installation:


Simultaneously, the Rotaract Club of Karad City witnessed the installation of Rtr Azim Kagdi as President and Rtr Prathmesh Kamble as Secretary. The young leaders brought enthusiasm and a fresh perspective to the event, emphasizing their dedication to driving the club's initiatives forward with vigor and innovation.


President Rtr Azim Kagdi shared his vision for the year ahead, highlighting the importance of youth engagement and the role of Rotaract in addressing contemporary social issues. "We aim to be the change-makers in our community, bringing fresh ideas and energy to tackle the challenges we face," he asserted. His strategic plan includes expanding service projects, enhancing community engagement, and fostering a spirit of innovation among members.
