SUSTAIN OUR WORLD, DESIGN YOUR FUTURE.
In the broadest possible sense, sustainability refers to the ability of something to maintain or "sustain" itself over time.1
In business and policy contexts, limits to sustainability are determined by physical and natural resources, environmental degradation, and social resources.
The Sustainability Week is a week full of events designed to inspire you to realize a sustainable future. The Sustainability Week started in 2019 as an event organized by the University of Twente. In 2020, the Sustainability Week focused on regional collaborations. Therefore, the Sustainability Week was organized in partnership with the ROC van Twente, Saxion University of Applied Sciences and the University of Twente. This successful collaboration has been extended into 2021, which saw the launch of a new website. Together we aim to inspire people for a sustainable future and to design your daily life to be more sustainable.
