Travernia Travel Quiz Contest Announced

A unique event, Travenia Travel Quiz Contest announced.  Disclosing this in a press note the organisers informed that the contest will be held during the Travernia Fest to be held at Hitex on November 15, 2024.   500 teams are expected to participate in this year's Travernia Quiz Contest. With a strong mix of students, corporate teams, and general enthusiasts, the event is set to be competitive, lively, and full of surprises.

 

Travernia Fest is Hyderabad’s premier travel and tourism festival, celebrating the spirit of travel with exhibitions, cultural showcases, workshops, and interactive sessions. It attracts travel enthusiasts, industry professionals, and cultural connoisseurs from across the country and abroad. The Travernia Quiz Contest is one of the highlights of this vibrant festival. To give you a taste of the quiz, here are a few sample questions:

1. Which country is known as the "Land of the Rising Sun"? (Answer: Japan)

2. In which city would you find the Colosseum, one of the Seven Wonders of the Medieval

World? (Answer: Rome, Italy)

3. What is the longest river in the world? (Answer: The Nile)

4. Which is the smallest country in the world by area? (Answer: Vatican City)

These are just a few examples, but expect a wide variety of questions that will challenge and

Travel

The Travernia Quiz Contest is a competitive quiz designed to challenge participants' knowledge of the world, including geography, travel destinations, cultures, history, and much more. It is part of Travernia Fest, a grand celebration of travel, tourism, and cultural exchange. The contest will test not only facts and trivia but also the depth of participants' understanding of global travel trends, landmarks, languages, and cuisines.

 

The contest is open to all—whether you're a seasoned traveller, a student, or someone who loves trivia. Teams of three members can participate, and we encourage groups from schools, colleges, and corporate organizations to join in. The competition is perfect for those who love to explore the world through knowledge, and it offers an excellent platform for teamwork and healthy competition.

 

There is a single edition called Little Explorer’s Edition (Grade 6-12). Registration for School Children is FREE. Any number of teams can be sent from the school.

 

The Objective of the Quiz Contest is to celebrate global diversity through questions that span the world’s geography, culture, and history. And to foster a love for travel and exploration by sparking curiosity about different destinations, traditions, and landmarks. To provide a platform for travel enthusiasts to compete, connect, and share their knowledge. To engage the community in a fun, educational event that complements the larger Travernia Fest, which celebrates the spirit of travel.

 

The contest will be hosted by the renowned quiz master Mr.Gaurava Yadav, a celebrated figure in the quizzing circuit known for hosting prestigious national and international quiz competitions.

 

Tourism

The quiz contest will feature multiple rounds, including Preliminary Written Round. All teams will participate in this elimination round.   6 Teams that qualify will move on to the stage rounds, which will cover: Travel Destinations & Landmarks; World Cultures & Traditions; Geography; Global Cuisines; World Heritage Sites; Wildlife & Nature; Famous Personalities in Travel and Telangana History

 

The Travernia Quiz Contest offers an exciting prize pool of ₹1,75,000, which will be awarded as follows: First Prize: ₹1,00,000; Second Prize: ₹50,000 and Third Prize: ₹25,000

 

The preliminary round comprising physical and written will be held on November 15 at Hitex at 11am.  The finals will be held on the same at the same venue at 3.30pm.

 

Registration: Participants can register through the official Travernia Fest website or on- site before 11 AM on the day of the event on November 15th. Teams can register online via the official Travernia Fest website at www.traverniafest.com/quiz. Early registrations are highly encouraged to ensure a spot in the contest, as the number of participating teams is capped.
