TREASURE HUNT organized in aid of Sparsh Hospice

Sparsh Hospice, the first Palliative Care Center in the Telugu States established in 2011, an initiative of Rotary Club of Banjara Hills Charitable Trust on Sunday organized TREASURE HUNT was organized in aid of Sparsh Hospice and ongoing projects of Rotary Club of Banjara Hills.

50 plus cars participated in the treasure hunt which was flagged off at Hotel Daspalla in Jubilee Hills and concluded at Sparsh Hospice, a palliative care center at Khajaguda.

The winners were given prizes. The 1st Prize and Best Colour Coordinated Prize was given to Team Women on Wheels; the 2nd prize to Gucci Gang and the 3rd to Team Booze; Best Decorated car was given to Team Revengers. It was a fun-filled family activity with a great purpose, the purpose to aid terminally ill cancer patients who Sparsh Hospice serves.

Palliative Care is the care given to terminally ill patients. Sparsh Hospice is an 82 bedded new facility at Khajaguda. The 60,000 sq. ft. facility was constructed on a 1.1 acre leased land which the Government of Telangana allocated to it for 33 years lease and was inaugurated recently.


Palliative care at Sparsh involves physical, emotional and spiritual care, with a team of trained doctors, nursing staff, physiotherapists, counselors and spiritual guides. It also offers home care services. All these services are offered free. It served more than 4000 patients
